Fisunetwork.fi is a network service maintained by the Finnish Environment Institute SYKE and Motiva Oy.

Fisunetwork.fi is a meeting place for all operators seeking resource wisdom. Its purpose is to present the municipalities in the Fisu network, follow their development on the path to resource wisdom, and inform them of the support provided by SYKE and Motiva’s shared Fisu service centre.

Syke, Motiva and the Fisu cities all have their separate online services. The links to the online services can be found in the bottom banner on fisunetwork.fi. The topical materials of the organisations, such as press releases, events and publications, are available in the online services of the different operators. In addition, they are occasionally brought up on fisunetwork.fi.

No personal data file is made up from the users of the service. The users’ e-mail addresses and/or other personal data is requested when submitting feedback. The users may also submit feedback anonymously, but if a response to the feedback is expected, contact information must be submitted.

Cookie policy and monitoring the use of the service

Fisunetwork.fi uses cookies. Some of the cookies are related to the functionality of the website, while others are used for gathering statistics of the use of the website. Users may disable cookies by changing their browser settings. However, this may cause the website to not function properly.

General statistical data is collected from the use of the website for the purpose of developing the service. Such data include the number of visitors to the website, popularity, the websites from which the user has found the service, the most popular search terms and the browsers used.

The collected data includes the user’s IP address, time and duration of visit, pages visited, browser type, operating system and screen resolution. The user statistics are based on log data on the server as well as on Google Analytics reports in which the cookies of the Google Analytics software and JavaScript code are used.
